NCERT is inviting submissions of literary texts (poetry and prose) for the
magazine Firkee bachchon ki, for its upcoming issues. The submissions are
open for adult authors/writers as well as for children of age 3-12 years. We
are looking to publish new authors alongside well-known names.

Firkee bachchon ki is a children’s magazine of elementary level. It targets
readers of age group 5-8 years. It is a bi-lingual magazine which includes works
in English and Hindi. It is developed with the purpose to promote reading
writing in the early years of children and provide resource material to enhance
their reading skills. It is published twice a year in June and December.

In the magazine we keep a separate space to showcase the drawings by
children in the section ‘Dekho Maine Kya Banaya!’. Parents and Teachers are
also requested to submit creative writings and drawings of their children and
students. This magazine has already published works by school children and
we are looking forward to doing the same for our upcoming issues.
