The process of evaluation of answer sheets will also be decided by the board itself. These examinations will be conducted under the supervision of center superintendent and observers sent from outside. The final mark sheet will be prepared on the basis of the marks secured by the students in the first and second term.

Simultaneously, the Internal Assessment for 9th-10th (whole year irrespective of Term I and Term II) will consist of 3 periodic tests, student enrichment, portfolio and practical work, speaking and listening activities. The Internal Assessment for 11th-12th (across the year except for the duration of Term I and Term II) will consist of Topic End or Unit Tests, Research Activity, Practical Work and Project Work.

Decision Due To Corona

CBSE has also asked schools to prepare student profiles. Schools will prepare the profile of the students and create a digital format for all the assessments done during the year. The board has said that schools will continue to teach in distance mode until individual teaching in schools is allowed.

CBSE has taken this decision in view of the Corona epidemic. Regarding the plan for the 10th-12th board examinations of 2022, CBSE said that efforts will be made to make internal assessment and project work more reliable and valid. Earlier, the board had also canceled the 10th-12th examination to be held this year due to Corona.
