New Delhi – The National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT), in collaboration with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), is extending a unique opportunity for CBSE students to directly participate in the counselling process for admission to hospitality-based Bachelor’s programs.

With the introduction of hospitality-based subjects in the education system under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, students are being equipped with industry-specific skills, preparing them for a multitude of career avenues.

The CBSE-NCHMCT partnership offers Skill subjects like Food Production and Front Office Operations to students from IX to XII in CBSE-affiliated schools.
Established in 1982, NCHMCT is a government entity that administers and regulates hospitality education programs in India. It has established 21 top-tier institutes nationwide and serves as a technical knowledge partner in the field of hospitality education for the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India.
Paving the Path to Quality Education and Promising Careers
To qualify for admission to the Bachelor’s programmes provided by NCHMCT, students must have successfully completed class XII or its equivalent and qualify the NCHMCT Joint Entrance Examination (NCHM-JEE), followed by a centralized online counselling process.

For the academic year 2023, NCHMCT is presenting an exclusive opportunity for CBSE students who have completed class XII with Hospitality Based subjects to register and directly participate in the counselling process for admission to the Bachelor programmes.
