All India Children’s Educational eContent Competition (AICEeCC) is a unique educational competition for children and teachers of India, being organised by the Central Institute of Educational Technology (CIET), NCERT Delhi.

The Central Institute of Educational Technology (CIET), a constituent of NCERT, Delhi, announces the prestigious All India Children’s Educational eContent Competition (AICEeCC) for the academic year 2023-24.

AICEeCC innovative competition is designed to encourage children and educators across India to embrace digital technologies in education, aligning with the Sustainable Development Goal 4.0 and the National Education Policy 2020’s vision of digital pedagogy.

Elevating Creativity and Digital Expertise

AICEeCC aims to stimulate creative expression among educational media professionals, teacher educators, teachers, and students. This year introduces a new category: “Theme-based Educational eContent,” expanding the horizon for creative themes. It emphasizes the Government of India’s initiatives and campaigns, providing a broader scope for participants.

The Ministry of Education GoI has promoted many digital initiatives for enhancing the quality of education like PM eVidya, DIKSHA, NISTHA and so on. Even National Education Policy (NEP 2020) is promoting digital pedagogy, and various curricular & extension activities have been proposed for making our teachers ‘Digital Teachers’.

Comprehensive Selection Criteria for AICEeCC Participants

Eligibility: eContent developed between January 1, 2023, and December 31, 2023.

Target Groups: Includes Foundational, Preparatory and Middle Level, Secondary, Teacher and Adult Education, and Theme-based Educational eContent.

Language Diversity: Non-Hindi/English entries require Hindi/English subtitles.

Inclusivity: Special emphasis on ‘Children with Special Needs’ (CWSN) content.

Artistic and Technical Excellence: Entries must showcase creativity and broad appeal.

Duration: eContent should range from 3 to 30 minutes.

Rules and Regulations for a Fair AICEeCC Competition

  • Originality: No stock shots or copyrighted materials are allowed.
  • Single Category Submission: One eContent per category per entry.
  • Usage Rights: CIET, NCERT retains a copy of all entries for educational use.

Rewarding Excellence in Digital Education

Winners in various categories, including Audio, Video & Animations, Immersive eContent, and Digital Educational Games and Apps, will receive a cash prize of Rs. 40,000, a certificate, and a trophy. The competition culminates on December 31, 2023, marking the deadline for submissions.

AICEeCC’s Production Timeline and Verification Requirements

The All India Children’s Educational eContent Competition (AICEeCC) requires that programs be produced or developed from January 1, 2022, to February 10, 2023. An undertaking regarding the production date of the program is essential, as failure to provide this will result in the rejection of entries.

AICEeCC Embraces a Wide Educational Spectrum

Programs submitted to the AICEeCC must be suitable for various educational groups, including:

  • Foundational Literacy and Numeracy Level (FLN): 03 – 08 years (Pre-School and Grade I- II).
  • Preparatory Level/ Middle Level / Secondary Level (PMS): 08-18 years (Grade III-XII).
  • Adult Education.
  • Teacher Education.

AICEeCC’s Language Inclusivity: Ensuring Accessibility

For programs in languages other than Hindi or English, subtitling in Hindi or English is required. This ensures that the content is accessible and inclusive to a broader audience.

Creative and Inclusive Content: AICEeCC’s Core Values

The program content should be creative, demonstrate broad appeal, and exhibit excellent artistic and technical skills. Additionally, it should positively speak to and respect children from diverse backgrounds and cultures. AICEeCC focuses on making an inclusive system by providing equal opportunities to persons with and without disabilities. Content on ‘Children with Special Needs’ (CWSN) is given preference.

AICEeCC’s Duration Guidelines and Usage Rights

The duration of the program (Audio/Video program) should not exceed 30 minutes and should be a minimum of 5 minutes. The submitted program will be used by NCERT for educational purposes, including dissemination by online/offline modes.

Originality and Copyright Compliance in AICEeCC Submissions

Materials like images, graphics, and stock footage used in production should not be copyrighted. Under the children’s category, children must submit a copy of their ID and an endorsement by the principal of the school.


1. Please read the brochure details of filling the form before the final submission very carefully. Read the details like Rules, Criteria, and Categories etc. in the brochure.

2. Submit a duly filled only online Application Form (one application form for each programme separately) to the coordinator along with all relevant documents

3. Please send your programmes for the competition in the highest possible resolution through online form / share it through Google Drive at

4. Fee for submitting a programme for consideration as part of All India Children’s Educational eContent Competition (AICEeCC) is Rs. 200/- (Rupees two hundred only) per application form.

There is no fee for the entries from NIE/CIET/PSSCIVE/RIEs of NCERT.

5. No cash payment will be accepted. Cash transfer to CIET’s Bank Account will also not be accepted.

6. Last Date of submitting the online form is: February 10, 2023

7. Upload all the relevant documents/files like synopsis, script, photograph, image of programme, fees challan and programme etc. along with the application form.
