CTET 2021: CBSE changes the exam pattern of Teacher Eligibility Test, the exam will be conducted in online mode in December-January

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has changed the exam pattern of Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2021 to conduct it online. In this regard, the board issued a notification and said that in order to increase the quality of the candidates appearing in teaching, CTET-2021 will now be conducted in online mode in December 2021/January 2022.

CBSE says that conducting the examination in online mode is likely to motivate future candidates to learn and study computer. Along with this, paper wastage due to printing of question paper and OMR sheet will also be prevented.

Syllabus also changed

Apart from this, CBSE has also made changes in the syllabus. This time instead of factual knowledge, critical thinking, problem solving, reasoning, understanding of concepts and knowledge of application will be tested. In the issued notification, the board said that a detailed assessment framework with sample blueprints and questions will be issued so that the interested candidates can prepare for the examination.
