The CBSE Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) for the January 2024 session has its application deadline set for tomorrow. The CTET examination will be conducted on January 21, 2024, and the CTET certificate will have lifelong validity.

CBSE Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) January 2024: The last date for registration is tomorrow, November 23. Candidates aspiring to participate in the January session of the CTET can apply on the official CTET site, ctet.nic.in.

The deadline for CTET fee submission is also November 23, 2023. This time, the CTET exam will be held in 135 cities across 20 languages. There will be an opportunity for candidates to correct errors in their application forms between November 28 and December 2.

It’s important to note that CBSE conducts the CTET exam twice a year, with the first in July and the second in December. Successful candidates in Paper 1 of the CTET will be eligible for teacher recruitment from Class 1 to 5, while those qualifying in Paper 2 will be eligible for teaching positions from Class 6 to 8.

Successful CTET candidates can apply for Govt. Teacher Jobs and Teaching Positions in central schools like Kendriya Vidyalayas, Navodaya Vidyalayas, and Army Schools across India.

CBSE Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) Admit Cards and Results:

Admit cards will be issued two days before the exam. The CTET results are expected to be announced by the end of February.

Minimum Passing Marks for the CBSE Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET):

To pass the CTET, candidates must achieve minimum qualifying marks. For the general category, a minimum of 90 out of 150 marks (60%) is required, while SC/ST candidates need 82 out of 150 marks (55%).

  • CTET Paper-2 will be held on January 21 from 9:30 AM to 12 PM.
  • CTET Paper-1 will be conducted on January 21 from 2 PM to 4:30 PM.

CTET Paper-1 (for Class 1 to 5) and Paper-2 (for Class 6 to 8) each comprise 150 questions totaling 150 marks, covering subjects like Child Development and Pedagogy, Languages, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies.
