CTET Notification 2021: Candidates Awaiting Notification, will have papers this year
CTET Notification 2021: Millions of candidates are awaiting detailed notification of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET). Recently, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) had issued a notice stating that the examination could be held in December 2021 or January 2022. However, complete information will be available only after the notification is issued by the board. Some important changes have also been made in the examinations in view of the new education policy this year.
According to the CTET Notification, CTET will be conducted in online mode this year. In addition, the exam will ask questions to assess less factual knowledge and more conceptual understanding, problem solving and reasoning. Let me tell you that a facility center will also be set up in each district to acquaint the examinees with the new examination pattern. Candidates will be able to give free online mock test at these centers.
This examination is conducted twice a year for recruitment to the posts of teachers of class 1 to 8. This exam consists of two papers. For recruitment as a teacher, the first paper is taken from class 1 to class 5 and the second paper is taken from class 6 to 8. Candidates who want to teach students from class I to VIII must appear for both papers. To join Paper I, the candidate must have passed Class XII with 50% marks.
