IGNOU Recruitment 2020: The process of online application for Assistant Registrar and Security Officer Recruitment at Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) is going to start from tomorrow. According to the recruitment advertisement (No.58 / 2020 / Admin.) Released by the university on Saturday, 28 November 2020, the process of application for recruitment to a total of 22 posts, including 21 Assistant Registrars and 1 Security Officer, is going to start December 1.
The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) invites Online applications from the eligible candidates, in the prescribed application proforma available on IGNOU’s Website – www.ignou.ac.in
, for filling up the following NonAcademic posts:
(i) Essential Qualification and Experience for the post of Assistant Registrar:
a) Master’s Degree with at least 55% of the marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is
(ii) Essential Qualification and Experience for the post of Security Officer:
a) Master’s Degree with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade of ‘B’ in the UGC seven-point scale.
b) Should be a released Short Service Commissioned Officer or serving as such after having completed his initial
period of assignment of 5 years of military service and whose case the Ministry of Defence issues certificate that he
would be released within 3 months of selection and from the date of receipt of an offer of appointment.

Candidates desirous of applying for Assistant Registrar posts under IGNOU Assistant Registrar and Security Officer Recruitment should have passed a mastered degree from a recognized university or other higher education institution with a minimum of 55 percent marks. Also, the age of the candidates should not be more than 42 years on 15 November 2020. The notices for the recruitment of Assistant Registrar and Security Officer in Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) was issued on 16 November 2020, according to which the process of online application was to start from 23 November. However, according to another notice issued by the university on 22 November, the application process was deferred. After this, IGNOU has now announced that through a new notice issued on 28 November 2020, IGNOU Recruitment Online Application Form 2020 will be made available from 1 December 2020.
