Educational News: In a remarkable achievement, two students from Kamla Nehru Public School (KNPS), Chak Hakim, Phagwara, are set to represent District Kapurthala at the esteemed National Children Science Congress.
This announcement follows their outstanding performance at the 31st Punjab State Level Children Science Congress held on 3rd February 2024 at Rayat-Bahra Group of Institutions, Hoshiarpur.
A Triumph of Science and Innovation
The event, a hotspot for young scientific minds, witnessed participation from numerous schools, with over 1200 Science Projects displayed. Amidst the fierce competition, only three projects were selected to progress to the Nationals, with the project titled “Effect of Vehicle-Generated Dust on Roadside Vegetation” being the sole representative from Kapurthala District.
The project, falling under the theme ‘Understanding Ecosystem for Health and Well Being,’ was meticulously researched and presented by Miss Sameera and Miss Vanshika Soni, Grade XI students, under the guidance of their mentor Mr. Rajeev Choudhary, PGT Chemistry.
