National Entrance Screening Test To Be Held On June 14 Postponed Due To Corona, Application Date Also Extended Till July 15
The National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) 2021 has been postponed in view of the increasing cases of coronavirus in the country. In this regard, information was given by issuing a notification on the official website nestexam.in. According to the released notification, the examination which was to be held on June 14 has been postponed for the time being. Along with postponing the exam, the National Entrance Screening Test has extended the application date till July 15, 2021. Earlier the last date of application was 07 June.
New date will be issued after review of the situation
At present, no information has been given about the new exam date. Exam dates will be announced soon. According to the notification, “NEST 2021 has been postponed due to Corona. A new date will be announced with sufficient advance notice after reviewing the situation arising out of the pandemic.”
12th pass candidates can apply
To appear in this entrance exam, candidates must have passed 12th with at least 60 percent marks from any recognized board in the country. However, there is relaxation for reserved category. National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) is required for admission to National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) Bhubaneswar and Mumbai University.
