NCERT postponed the second phase of the NTSE 2021 exam, scheduled to be held on June 13


The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has postponed the second phase of the National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) 2021 amid rising cases of corona in the country. This examination was to be held on 13 June. According to the notification issued in this regard, the new dates of the examination will be released after the corona epidemic subsides.

Eligible candidates appearing for the examination can see the notification of the council’s official website ncert.nic.in. In the issued notification, the NCERT stated that, “After the situation becomes normal in the country, the new dates for the NTSE Stage 2 exam will be released on the official website.”

Earlier NTSE Stage 1 was held on 13 December. Students under 18 years of age who are studying in 10th in any recognized school or in open distance learning mode and appearing for class 10 exams for the first time are eligible to appear in this exam.

Through this exam, NCERT will select a total of 2000 students for the monthly scholarship. Selected candidates will be given Class Wise Scholarship. Under this, 11th-12th students will be given Rs 1,250 per month, graduate and post-graduate students Rs 2000 per month and Ph.D. students will be given scholarship as per UGC norms.
