Online Creative Writing Competition Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav

The Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India is glad to announce a creative participation competition on the occasion of celebrating the 75th year of India’s Independence Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav. This celebration would commence 75 weeks prior to Independence Day 2022 and will extend up to Independence Day 2023. On this occasion of great significance, the Ministry is glad to announce this competition to explore the creative instinct of students and encourage them to pen their ideas on the related themes of Indian Independence.

शिक्षा मंत्रालय (MoE), भारत सरकार को स्वतंत्रता के 75 वें वर्ष के आज़ादी का अमृत महोत्सव अवसर पर रचनात्मक लेखन प्रतियोगिता की घोषणा करते हुए खुशी हो रही है। यह उत्सव स्वतंत्रता दिवस 2022 से 75 सप्ताह पहले शुरू होकर स्वतंत्रता दिवस 2023 तक चलेगा। इस महोत्सव के अवसर पर शिक्षा मंत्रालय द्वारा छात्र-छात्राओं को भारतीय स्वतन्त्रता से संबंधित विषयों पर अपने विचारों को रचनात्मक ढंग से प्रस्तुत करने के लिए आमंत्रित किया जा रहा है।

Activities / गतिविधियां

The Creative participation for competition at the National level will be under the following categories: –

Essay (Within 1500 Characters)
Poem
- Class 6-8: 4 Stanzas
- Class 9-12: 6-8 Stanzas
Life story of a famous personality associated with Indian Freedom Struggle (1500 characters)
Script for Role play / One act play (Maximum 15 Minutes)
Upload image of hand-drawn Poster/Sketch; Freedom fighter of your choice/Event of your choice.

राष्‍ट्रीय स्‍तर पर रचनात्‍मक प्रतिभागिता निम्‍नलिखित श्रेणियों के तहत होगी:-

निबन्‍ध (500 शब्‍दों के अंदर)।
कविता
- कक्षा 6-8: 4 छंद
- कक्षा 9-12: 6-8 छंद
भारतीय स्वतंत्रता संग्राम से जुड़े एक प्रसिद्ध व्यक्तित्व की जीवन कहानी।
रोल प्‍ले/एकांकी के लिए पांडुलिपि (15 मिनट की अवधि हेतु)।
पोस्‍टर/स्‍केच (हाथ से बनाए हुए); आपके पसंदीदा स्‍वतंत्रता सेनानी/आपके द्वारा चुनी गई घटना पर।

Participation Guidelines / भागीदारी के दिशानिर्देश

The creative participation is open for students of classes 6th to 12th studying in Indian schools under the CBSE and all State Boards at the Union/State/UT levels including NIOS.

यह रचनात्‍मक भागीदारी उच्‍च प्राथमिक, माध्‍यमिक, उच्‍चतर माध्‍यमिक स्‍तरों पर केंद्रीय स्‍कूली शिक्षा बोर्ड और राज्‍यों/केन्‍द्र शासित राज्‍यों के बोर्ड तथा राष्‍ट्रीय मुक्‍त विद्यालयों में पढ़ने वाले कक्षा 6 से 12वीं के छात्र-छात्राओं के लिए है।

LANGUAGE / भाषा

Creative entries must be written in English or Hindi only.

रचनात्मक भागीदारी केवल अंग्रेजी या हिंदी में होनी चाहिए।

Important dates / महत्वपूर्ण तिथियाँ

Start Date: 12 March 2021
Last Date: 12 April 2021

प्रतियोगिता 12 मार्च 2021 से शुरू होगी और 12 अप्रैल 2021 तक चलेगी।
सभी तरह की रचनात्‍मक प्रविष्टियाँ www.MyGov.in पर भेजी जा सकती हैं।

Mode of Submission / जमा करने का माध्‍यम

Visit the website www.MyGov.in to submit the creative entries.
Write-up text should be submitted in readable font of Hindi/English
Font size should be 12 for English and 14 for Hindi
Line spacing should be 1.15 only.

रचनात्मक प्रविष्टियों को जमा करने के लिए www.MyGov.in वेबसाइट पर जाएं।
हिंदी / अंग्रेजी के पठनीय फ़ॉन्ट में लेखन जमा कीजिए।
अंग्रेजी के लिए फ़ॉन्ट का आकार 12 और हिंदी के लिए 14 होना चाहिए।
पं‍क्तियों के बीच की दूरी केवल 1.15 होनी चाहिए ।

Terms and Conditions / नियम और शर्तें

The competition is open to all citizens of India only
All entries must be submitted on www.MyGov.in. Entries submitted through any other medium/mode would not be considered for evaluation.
A participant can send one entry only. In case it is found that any participant has submitted more than one entry, all entries will be considered as invalid.
The entry should be original. Copied entries will not be considered under the contest.
The participants must be the same person who has written the write-up.
Please note that the creative entries must be original and should not violate any provisions of the Indian Copyright Act, 1957
Anyone found infringing on others copyright would be disqualified from the competition. The government of India does not bear any responsibility for copyright violations or infringements of intellectual property carried out by the participants.
Mention of the author name /emails etc. anywhere in the body of the creative entry will lead to disqualification
Participants are to make sure that their MyGov Profile is accurate and updated since the Ministry of Education would be using this for further communication.
This includes details such as name, photo, complete postal address, email ID and phone number. Entries with incomplete profiles would not be considered.
Ministry of Education reserves the right to cancel or amend all or any part of the competition/or the Term and Conditions/Technical Parameter/ Evaluation Criteria.

However, any changes to the Terms and Conditions/Technical Parameters/Evaluation Criteria, or cancellation of the contest, will be updated/ posted on the Mygov Platform. It would be the responsibility of the participant to keep themselves informed of any changes in the Term& Conditions/Technical Parameters/ Evaluation Criteria stated for this Contest.

प्रतियोगिता केवल भारत के नागरिकों के लिए है।
सभी प्रविष्टियों को www.MyGov.in पर जमा करना होगा । मूल्यांकन के लिए किसी अन्य माध्यम / मोड से जमा प्रविष्टियों पर विचार नहीं किया जाएगा।
एक प्रतिभागी केवल एक प्रविष्टि भेज सकता है। यदि यह पाया जाता है कि किसी भी प्रतिभागी ने एक से अधिक प्रविष्टियाँ जमा की हैं, तो सभी प्रविष्टियों को अमान्य माना जाएगा।
प्रविष्टियाँ मौलिक होनी चाहिए। प्रतियोगिता के तहत नकली प्रविष्टियों पर विचार नहीं किया जाएगा।
प्रतिभागी वही व्‍यक्‍ति होना चाहिए जिसने रचना स्‍वयं लिखी या बनाई हो।
कृपया ध्यान दें कि रचनात्मक प्रविष्टियाँ मौलिक होनी चाहिए और भारतीय कॉपीराइट अधिनियम, 1957 के किसी भी प्रावधान का उल्लंघन नहीं करना चाहिए।
जो कोई दूसरों के कॉपीराइट का उल्लंघन करता पाया गया, उसे प्रतियोगिता में अयोग्य घोषित कर दिया जाएगा। भारत सरकार कॉपीराइट उल्लंघन या प्रतिभागियों द्वारा किए गए बौद्धिक संपदा के उल्लंघन के लिए ज़िम्मेदारी नहीं होगी।
प्रविष्टि में कहीं भी लेखक का नाम / ईमेल आदि का उल्लेख प्रतिभागी को अयोग्‍य कर देगा।
प्रतिभागियों को यह सुनिश्चित करना है कि उनका Mygov प्रोफ़ाइल सटीक और अपडेटेड है क्योंकि शिक्षा मंत्रालय आगे के संचार के लिए इसका उपयोग करेगा। इसमें नाम, फोटो, पूरा डाक पता, ईमेल आईडी और फोन नंबर जैसे विवरण शामिल हैं। अधूरे प्रोफाइल वाले प्रवेश पर विचार नहीं किया जाएगा।
शिक्षा मंत्रालय प्रतियोगिता के सभी या किसी भी भाग को रद्द करने या उसमें संशोधन करने का अधिकार सुरक्षित रखता है ।

हालाँकि , नियम और शर्तों में कोई भी बदलाव / तकनीकी मानदंड, मूल्‍यांकन के मापदंड या प्रतियोगिता को रद्द करना Mygov प्लेटफार्म पर अपडेट किया जाएगा। प्रतिभागी की यह जिम्मेदारी होगी कि वह इस प्रतियोगिता के लिए घोषित नियम एवं शर्त/ तकनीकी मापदंड / मूल्‍यांकन मापदंड से भली-भांति परिचित हो।
