National e-Governance Division (NeGD), Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY), is organizing an Online Painting contest based on the theme ‘Go Digital, Go Paperless, Save Trees’ to commemorate ‘World Environment Day 2021’ on June 5, 2021.

•All the entries must be submitted online through www.mygov.in
•No other medium of submission will be accepted
•The participants must mention the following details along with their submission:

1. Name
2. Father/Mother name
3. Address
4. Age
5. School Name
6. Class
7. Contact number
8. Email ID

*It may be kindly noted that entries with incomplete profiles/details required will not be considered.

Award For Painting Competition on World Environment Day 2021:

The top 10 entries will be awarded a Digital Certificate and a chance to get their paintings published on the Social Media Channels of Digital India.

Painting Competition on World Environment Day 2021
Terms and Conditions 

1. The Competition is open to school students from across the country from Classes
6 – 12 in India only.
2. All entries must be submitted on https://www.mygov.in/ . Entries submitted through any other
medium/ mode will not be considered for evaluation
3. There is no entry fee to participate in the contest

4. Theme of the Painting Competition is ‘Go Digital, Go Paperless, Save Trees’

5. Multiple entries by the same participant/applicant will not be considered

6. The Painting must not contain any provocative, objectionable or inappropriate content

7. The Painting must be original and should not violate any provision of the Indian Copyright Act,
1957.
 The applicant/participant shall not use any material (Photograph, icon, symbol, image etc.)
which is copyright protected
8. Anyone found infringing on other’s copyright would be disqualified from the competition
9. The painting has to be submitted online in JPEG, PDF format
10. NeGD will inform only the winners about the selection of their Painting

11. The result of the competition will be uploaded on the MyGov portal

12. Participants need to submit a high-resolution photograph (300 DPI) of themselves showing the
painting that he/she has made while submitting entry. 

Technical Parameters for Painting Competition on World Environment Day 2021

1. The Painting must be in A2 size (420 x 594 mm / 16.5 x 23.4 inches) on any type of Art paper
of the choice of the participants

2. The participants will be at liberty to use any type of safe colour material like acrylic, pastel,
water etc., or a clever mix of all in the painting

3. The Painting should be usable on the website/mobile app/ social media such as
Twitter/Facebook/Instagram and on Magazines, Commercial, Hoardings/Standees,
Brochures, Leaflets, Pamphlets, Souvenirs and other publicity and marketing materials 

Evaluation Criteria for Painting Competition on World Environment Day 2021

1. All the entries fulfilling the terms and conditions would be assessed for award- i.e., Digital
Certificate by a Selection Committee constituted by NeGD

2. Winners will be felicitated by getting their painting published along with self-photograph
submitted
3. Entries would be judged on the basis of elements of creativity, originality, composition,
technical excellence, simplicity, artistic merit and visual impact and how well the theme is
communicated

4. The decision of the Selection Committee would be final and binding on all the participating
contestants and no clarifications would be issued to any participant/applicant for any of
their decisions.
