Primary school timings from 15 to 31 May 7 to 11 am
Punjab Reschedules Summer Holidays, Schools To Close From Jun 1-30 – Punjab has rescheduled summer holidays in all schools, which will now close from June 1 to 30 instead of from May 14, Education Minister Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer said in a statement here.
The Education Minister said, the students and parents, who had seen the loss due to the absence of offline classes in the schools for two years, were demanding that the summer vacations should be done as before. From 15 to 31 May 2022, the timings of primary schools will be from 7 to 11 am and in middle-high, senior secondary schools from 7 am to 12.30 pm.

Due to the demand of students, parents and teachers to make summer vacations in schools as in previous years, under the guidelines of the Chief Minister, the Education Department has reconsidered its decision from 15 May to 31 May 2022. Classes will be held in offline mode in government, aided and private schools, while it has been decided to extend summer vacations from June 1 to June 30.
