Educational Qualification for WCR Teacher Recruitment 2021:

Essential Qualifications for Teaching Posts. 

• WCR Teacher Recruitment 2021: Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT):- Graduation (in the teaching subject) and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education OR Graduation (in the teaching subject) with at least 50% marks and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B. Ed.)OR Graduation (in the teaching subject) with at least 45% marks and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B. Ed.), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard. OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B. El. Ed.) or Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-years B.A./B.Sc. or B. A. Ed./B. Sc. Ed. OR Graduation (in the teaching subject) with at least 50% marks and 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education) AND ii. Pass in the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET), to be conducted by the appropriate Government in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose. AND Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English medium.

• WCR Teacher Recruitment 2021: Diploma/Degree Course in Teacher Education: Diploma/Degree course in teacher education recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) only shall be considered. However, in the case of Diploma in Education (Special Education) and B.Ed. (Special Education), a course recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (ROI) only shall be considered.

• WCR Teacher Recruitment 2021: Post Graduate Teacher: Two years’ Integrated Post Graduate M. Sc Course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject; OR Master Degree from recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate in the concerned subject.

Interested candidates are advised to submit their application in the given prescribed

applied should be shown in the subject field. Eligible candidates for WCR Teacher Recruitment 2021 will be shortlisted and called
for personal interview on short notice and the list of candidates with date of interview will
also be published in website www.wcr.indianrailways.gov.in. Preference will be given to those
who possessing qualifications higher than those prescribed for the post/ teaching experience
from Kendriya Vidhyalaya, Government Schools and other reputed Schools. Applications not

shall be summarily rejected.
